Laray.

I spotted Laray walking on 42nd Street and 8th Avenue pointing her Sony at the colorful marquees with her pop up flash struggling to to illuminate the distant scenes.  As I’m known to do on occasion, I approached her and questioned her technique.  And while I was half expecting her to respond, “And who are you again?” she instead explained, “The flash isn’t on. It’s just up." 

While the flash had indeed been on and firing, I didn’t pursue the matter further…
