77th and Lex

I passed these teens on my way to my audiologist to pick up some custom made earplugs (necessary for the deafening BET’s 106 & Park set where I shoot 3 days per week).  They were playing around in the heat and waiting around for a friend who was late so they could go to a nearby public pool.  I suggested they leave the friend and go to the pool now.  “That’s why my friends would have done to me,” I told them.  They laughed at that.

They seem a lot nicer than the friends I had in high school.
