I showed this shot to my sister and told her I selected it because it best represented a “tortured writer”.  She said, “He’s a tortured writer?”.  ’

The question totally threw me off because I just assume all writers are tortured souls and whenever I shoot a writer that is what I am trying to convey. It never even occurred to me that maybe some writers are actually happy.
